Hi! I'm MimiSan, French Freelance Designer and "Big Boss" of my Small & Slow Creative Company ♥︎

My work is an Ode to Femininity in all of its facets, its Curves, its Mysteries, its Shadows, its Magnificence, Power and Life Force. I design comfortable, practical and elegant clothes, adapted to Life's Challenges.

I've been running my small business for 18 years now and like many fellow freelance designers, I work with passion, endurance and versatility...without ever counting the hours... 🐜

After a degree in Art History, at the age of 27, I attended a tailoring school, driven by the desire to improve my sewing skills, which I was already practicing in a self-taught and already quite productive way. I got my tailoring diplomas and I created my first collection "MimiSan CollectiOn TeXtiliStiQue" in India, which I managed passionately for 12 intense years. I loved playing with the overload of flowers and colors offered by Indian woven cotton. 

Looking back now, those were my school years on the ground. 

Then in search of quality jersey fabrics, I went to Bali, Indonesia, and I created this new brand in 2018, which for me is a new phase of life and creation 💫

I chose to have my clothes made because it allows me to stay focused on creation, to design new prints, create new models and make dreamlike photoshoots, and it gives me the space I need for the less exciting but essential part of management, communication, sales, shipments...
